Inspections are carried out by access through the moon pool, or either side of the vessel. ​The VideRay Pro4 is best suited for this scope, as it can get between the risers with ease.

​All the data is captured by a 4K camera, which gives clear and detailed footage. If any indications or areas of concern are found, the image can be magnified and give clear defined results. 

​Thickness checking and cathodic protection readings can also be carried out with this type of ROV.
